- September 6, Hot Art and Salsa Nights: a day and evening of Art, Dance and Dining in Support of the Robertson County Senior Center. Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Senior Center. Enjoy six artists' interpretations of "Hot Art" in paintings, photography, jewelry and sculpture while enjoying a glass of champagne and strawberries.

Feb. 2007 - ArtBeat Nashville Premier in Green Hills (www.artbeatnashville.com) received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from a crowd of more than 100 people Thursday night. Artists, Geppe Hernandez and Michael Manly, presented new works featuring abstract impressionistic paintings and whimsical interpretations of pianos and guitars. ARTbeat Nashville’s goal is to support the Nashville community and abroad by bringing together local artists and passionate people sharing the common goal of community outreach. A portion of the proceeds this time will be donated to the American Heart Association. Lean Studio, a personal training and wellness facility in Green Hills owned by Jeff and Ashley Howerton hosted the event. While perusing the art guests enjoyed hors d’ oeuvres and live music by Dara Tucker, a local jazz singer. The event was sponsored by Brenda Batey, Barbara Seiger, Becky Beasley, Jack Gaw, Tameron Hedge, John Spight, Faith Malloy, Hillary Kanter and Kim Davis. Guests also included Alice French, Delma Woosley, Mike Machak, Tim Mitchell, Amy Loftus, Barbara Smith, Pat Painter, Darcy West, Jerry Painter, Donna Rizzo, Lisa Rivas, Richard Smith, John Jackson, Paige Betts, Dot Bridges, Amy Thomas, Chris Freeman, Ann Jaramillo, Mart Stovall, Gordon Peblow, Ingrid Holmann, Stephen Force, Jeff Cardenas, Dan and Laura Klepper.

9/20/07 - MEDIUM RARE - 1926 Hayes Street, Nashville, TN 37203. Medium Rare, a mixed-media art event, featured the works of Michael Manly and Geppe Hernandez. Manly and Hernandez combined acrylic paint with wood, canvas, metal, paper and other items to create most of the art pieces for this show. A portion of the proceeds was donated to help raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis. The opening was well-attended by many art enthusiasts as well as supporters of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The event was sponsored by Jack Gaw, John Spight, Alice French, Becky Beasley and Josh Johan. We appreciate all those that attended, supported and helped make this event such a great success.
